Enfield Youth Programs offers free after-school and summer programs open to youth of Tompkins County with priority given to Enfield Youth age 10 and up. These programs are offered through a partnership between the Enfield Community Council and 4H of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County.
We are currently enrolling for the second round of fall programs, following CDC, NYS, and Tompkins County Health Department Guidelines. These programs are run by our Program Manager, Eric Carter and take place at the pavillion of the former Living Waters Church (162 Enfield Main Road), unless otherwise noted.
Mondays, Nov 2 – Dec 14, 4:30 – 6:30 pm
The holidays are coming fast – get in the festive mood by making gifts, crafts, and treats! We will also explore how holidays are celebrated around the world. While weather holds out, we will meet at the pavilion of the former Living Waters Church, 162 Enfield Main Rd.
Night Ventures: Connecticut Hill
Tuesdays, Nov 3 – Dec 15, 4:30 – 6:30 pm
Take advantage of the longer nights – learn about navigating in the dark, make torches, and play plenty of games. We will also conclude the program with a night time scavenger hunt. Please note, no restrooms will be available, so please plan ahead. Wednesdays, Nov 4 – Dec 16, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
The Enfield Community Council is moving into a new building and will need help cleaning up and decorating. Come help make the teen space your own – we will discuss future plans, paint, decorate and get it ready for future programs. Come with your own ideas so we can make them happen.
Thursdays, Nov 5 – Dec 17, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Come join us for some sensational science projects! Learn the marvels of space, the fundamentals of physics, and of course make some wacky chemistry creations. Bring your own ideas and hypotheses and we’ll try them out. While weather holds out we will meet at the pavilion of the former Living Waters Church, 162 Enfield Main Rd.
